Today I went out with my friends to Sentosa for the first time.
Woke up early to get ready to meet the others. When I got there, Choon Tat was already there waiting. Then Alvin came, followed by Wei Cheng. The rest came rather later than the time we initially wanted to meet. Sarah came and followed by Edwin and Benedict. Then the seven of us went over to Harbourfront first. When we got there, we wanted to buy some snacks over but the Giant in Vivo was not opened yet, so we went over to Sentosa first. Upon reaching there, we were unsure of how to get to the Siloso Beach since it has been a long time since most of us has been there. Then once at the beach, Wei Cheng, Choon Tat and Alvin went into the water first. Edwin was sun-tanning while Sarah and I just waited under the shade to look after the things. Then we decided to bury Edwin in sand. After a while, I went into the water as well. Can't remember how long has it been since I went into the sea. About 10am+, Xian Feng, Cheryl, Cynthia, Stella, Chee Yang and Jia Hao arrived with lunch. We played around and then played Frisbee in the water. While playing, I almost drown with Alvin when I tried to get the Frisbee. It was because it has been about 7-8 years+ since I last swam.
After playing, we had lunch and then Alvin, Xian Feng, Choon Tat, Wei Cheng and I went to play pool. We played about 3-4 games. It was very addicting. It was the first time I get so many balls in. Then we went back to the shelter where we put our bags to get our clothes to change. After changing, we wanted to get to the Blue Line bus. While walking, the girls were out of sight. When the tram arrived, we saw them sitting on the tram to the next stop. The boys also took the tram, leaving Alvin and me running to outrun it to the Blue Line bus stop. After reaching the station, we saw the Blue Line station full of people. Then we decided to walk to the Yellow Line bus stop. We crossed the Palawan Beach and then we reached the Yellow Line bus stop. After getting on to the bus to get to the stop where we changed bus to get to Harbour Front. It was pretty crowded and we had to wait about 2-3 buses later before we managed to board it. Then we got back to Harbourfront and went our separate ways. When I reached Choa Chu Kang, it was about 6.30pm so I did not go to Taman Jurong CC for wushu.
Going out with friends is fun but safety is important as well. I hope there will be more of this outing soon.
