Finally got a new handphone.

Went to school at about 10.30am+ for maths lesson. Played a bit of basketball before lesson started. Then did some practice paper for maths. After that went for lunch with Edwin, Choon Tat, Kevin, Xian Feng and Alvin. After that went back to school and waited for my PTC turn. My parents had to see the P/VP as I failed 3 subjects. For the first time, I heard the VP speak Chinese. Her Chinese was rather fluent actually. Here's my overall result for SA1

English -> 62.8
Chinese -> 60.4
E Maths -> 58.9
Science -> 67.5
A Maths -> 32.1
SS/Hist -> 53.6
Pure Geo -> 53.3

Not bad overall but not to expectation. Hopefully during the 'O' levels I don't make as much mistakes as I made for the Mid-Year. After that went to get my new phone. Went to West Mall with my father to the Singtel shop to get the phone. While waiting, we went to the M1 shop to upgrade my SIM card to the 3G card. Then got my new Nokia N80 black colour. Quite nice and easy to use.

Anyone wants to watch Shrek 3 this Thursday? Mind you that the cost would be around $9-$10 as it is a public holiday. If no takers for this Thursday then it would be some day around this weekend or next week.

'O' LEVEL MT HAS ENDED.

Finally, one heavy load off my back. Still have to worry about the other subjects though. But for now, it is time to relax.

Paper 1 was pretty easy in my opinion. I took a lot of proverbs from the dictionary. And I would like to thank Cheong Seng for lending me the extra dictionary. Paper 2 was rather ok. The cloze passage part was a bit tricky. The rest was quite ok. Went to have lunch at McDonald's after that. Then, Xian Feng, Alvin and I went to Bukit Panjang Plaza to make my spectacles. Cost about $220. Alvin and I wanted to accompany Xian Feng to get his new phone but he told us to go home instead since he did not want us to waste our time there. So we went separate ways after that.

Went for my cousin's 'wedding' dinner today.

It was not really an official wedding dinner I think. The dinner was held at some small restaurant. The food was not that bad. I can't remember what the first dish is called. Up next was the chicken. It was quite nice. Followed up was the fish and pork slice. Then after that there was the abalone and next came the scallop and then the prawn. And lastly was some noodle which I forgot the name. I did not like the dessert that came after as I did not even know what was it. Overall, the food was quite delicious and very fulling. Reached home about 10pm.

To bring back some NDP memories, here is a photo of one of the kids who performed for the wushu item.

Cute isn't he?
@ 12:24 AM

Had Wushu grading today.

Waited for my class's turn to do our routine. First few were the kids. When it was my turn, I was able to do the routine quite well at the beginning but towards the ending part I messed up and was quite disappointed. After the whole thing, we went for supper. This little boy, Zhe Wei, poured his food that he could not finish and made me eat his share. I was so bloody full then. In total, I drank 3 drinks and was very bloated. Then those taking MRT went off. So I and Zhe Wei waited for the other group of people to finish their supper. Went home after that.

Today is a day of celebration. Firstly, to Sarah.

Happy 16th Birthday Sarah!!!

Known her since sec 1. Same CCA as well. One of the first friends I made in secondary school. She is friendly and is full of energy. She is pretty spastic as well. Knowing her for so long, she is a friend to have. She's helpful and cares for her friends. Good luck for her 'O' levels this year.

Secondly to Zhi Yu,

Happy 16th Birthday Zhi Yu!!!

She was in the same class as me in P5 and P6. Can't really remember much about her. She is helpful and quite smart. She is also the one who organised the class barbecue and class outing the past two years. Good luck for her 'O' levels as well.

Thirdly to Ye Huei and Wen Xin.

Happy Belated Birthday to Ye Huei and Early Birthday to Coach Wen Xin (not sure which came first)

Ye Huei is one of the admin for Wufang. She takes time off to come down to help out sometimes. Wen Xin is one of the coach for Wufang. She teaches quite well and also like playing sports.

Went out with the Wufang people today. They were celebrating Ye Huei and Coach Wen Xin's birthday together. Met up with Guo Hong at Orchard MRT. Supposed to meet at 12.30pm but I was rather late and arrived at about 12.40+. We walked around for a while and then Coach Guo arrived followed by Zhen Ling a few minutes later. We waited there until Yao De, Yan De and Chan Heng and Coach Wen Xin arrived. We headed to Paragon and went up to the Bakerzin. Jin Hong and Karen were already there. We waited a while there for Ye Huei, Coach Xin Ru and her daughter Michelle, Coach Xue and Bing Han. The food there is very nice except for the fact that it was very expensive. A simple meal cost at least $8. Even the drinks were expensive, a Pepsi cost $3.80. After the food, they ordered some cake for the birthday gals. In total, the bill was about $343+. Each of us had to fork out $26.50 but I did not have enough money with me then so I would be paying during Wufang lessons. We then walked around Orchard from Paragon to Far East Plaza, Isetan, Forum and can't remember the other place. The guys went separate ways and we headed to Fullhouse in one of the place. The food was quite nice as well. After that we headed to the Popular in the MRT station where Coach Xin Ru was trying to buy a school bag for Michelle but couldn't find a suitable one for her. She bought some stationaries instead I think. Then we headed to one shop where Coach Xin Ru and Ye Huei went to buy luggage for the Beijing trip in June. Left the place at about 7pm and took the train home with Jin Hong and Guo Hong.

Is it so hard to confess to her that I like her or to make her like me?

This thing has been on my mine every now and then. I can't stop thinking about her. However, now she has been like avoiding me. I really have no idea what to do. My teachers used to give in my testimonial that I am soft-hearted and that I should speak out more often. I didn't take that advice seriously then and only until recently did I realize that this are the reasons for my failure right now. I have made many friends since I stepped into this school. I did regret making some friends as they took advantage of my soft-hearted character and back-stabbed me. Because of that, this girl that I have liked had the wrong idea about me and we had some sort of cold war which lasted more than a year. It took quite a while to patch things up and be friends again. Recent events had also started to deteriorate our friendship. It has been on my mind for several years but I dared not tell her those simple few words. I have tried to do so but every time I would suddenly hold back.

A man's got to put his girl before himself.

I guess I am not ready to have this relationship. I can't commit myself to her fully. I have many things to handle that I can't even take time off for her. Perhaps it is fated that we should not be together? Still, I do hope that things can work out well between both of us.

Today has been a long tiring day.

During maths lesson, I realized that my A Maths paper 2 was short of 2 marks and when I told my teacher, she said it could be too late to change the marks but eventually it was changed. Still, my grade would still be F9 for A Maths. Then after school, some of the SCs had prepared for Sarah's birthday. It is actually on the 20th but it was brought early. I, Amirah and Elinur (not sure how to spell her name) went to get the cake for Sarah. Wei Hao joined us shortly after we arrived at the cake shop. Then we headed to NTUC to buy some snacks. The total cost was over $35. Back at the school, the EXCO had a 'meeting' while the other SCs went preparing for Sarah's surprise. After singing the birthday song, the cake was cut. After that we played some games and then some went off. Stayed in school playing basketball from about 4 or 5+ to 7pm and rested a while for the NZ briefing. The accommodation was quite ok. The first one was a hostel which looked similar to the one in Prague, Czech Republic. The other two hotel were lodges. They were quite nice and similar to the hotel we stayed in Vienna, Austria.

Got back the results for all my papers.

English: B4
Chinese: B4
Sc (Chem & Bio): B4
E Maths: B4
Combine Humanities (History/SS): D7
Pure Geography: D7
A Maths: F9

L1R4: 23
L1R5: 30

My Science results could have gotten better if not for my Bio paper. Pure Geography was badly done for the Paper 2. Only got 36/100. All these are only my mid-year results and takes up 25%. The CA results will give in the other 15%. Total up would be 40% and it will be converted to 100% for the overall results this year. I supposed my Science can upgrade to a A2 for my overall and my Combine Humanities can be a C5. Pure Geography may be pulled up also as the mini-tests were given to boost our marks. Don't think there will be a change in my A Maths results since I have not pass a single test on it.

Recently my friend introduced me back to a game which I play a few years back. It is quite fun but not recommended for computers which does not support 3D. I stopped playing it after they started the pay-to-play scheme but it will be removed on the 17th May. A new version of it is also rumored to come out. Start downloading the game and play now. Mind you, the file size is 700mb+.

Got back a few of my papers today.

First paper gotten back was E Maths Paper. I managed to secure a B4 for this subject. Quite a few careless here and there. But at least I managed to pass it.

Second paper was Chemistry paper 1. Did rather badly. Only gotten 11/20 correct. Cause I didn't study much for the sciences.

Third paper was Social Studies paper. Woots. Managed to pass the Social Studies paper even though I just studied the Sec 3 chapter only. My source base got a total of 13 marks. My essays got 6 and 7 respectively and thus total of 26/50 (borderline pass). Didn't get back the History paper but managed to know the marks. 11 marks for essay question and 11 marks for SBQ, giving me a total of 22/50. Tally up the marks and I failed by a mere two marks.

After school, only my class had Chinese AEP. We got back our Chinese paper 2 results. Did rather badly. 38/70 for that paper. My paper 1 was much better by a few marks. A total of 43 marks for the paper 1. My SA1 results for Chinese passed as well with a b4.

Getting back the other papers tomorrow.

Met up with Aik Hao and Alvin at Woodlands MRT to go Sim Lim. We walked around Causeway Point first. Then met Xian Feng at Somerset MRT station. Stopped at City Hall MRT while waiting for Wei Cheng. We then went around Sim Lim Square to look around. Aik Hao needed to buy some printer stuff while Xian Feng bought some DVD-Rs to burn some games. I bought myself a 2GB thumbdrive for $31. We walked around again before going to Long John Silvers to have our dinner. After dinner we walked around Bugis Junction and then went home at about 8pm+ while Xian Feng went for his SOKA thing.

Went to Hui Jie's house to play pool today. Met up with Wei Cheng, Alvin and Xian Feng first. Then we headed to the condo. Iris and her sister were there as well. Played a few rounds and was pretty fun. I lost quite a few rounds. There was one round I and Alvin kept giving each other free balls. There was also one round where Alvin won by default as Choon Tat accidentally shot in the black ball. Syafiq, Jia Hao, Monica came shortly after that. We continued playing until 3pm and then headed to Edwin's house. Some of them went into the pool and play. After that we went to food court at Lot 1 to have our dinner. Walked around and played the arcade awhile before going home.

OMG!!! I am so dead now.

Had one of the most craziest combination of exam paper today. First up was History Elective paper. Was able to understand the questions but just that could not remember the points when I started to answer the questions. Had a short break after the paper before the killer paper. I totally screwed up on the paper. I initially thought composite volcano would definitely come out since it came out most of the time so I spent time to remember it. In the end, it did not come out. I also did not study the monsoon forest characteristic which cost me about 9 marks for that part. There was a question on rift valley which I did not study as well. About 8 marks or more were lost in the question. For the last question of Physical Geography, I was unable to remember the process so I just scribbled in what came into my mind. For the Human Geography question, I only answered the part on Wet Rice cultivation and Oil Palm. It was easier to do than the other questions. I still lost quite some marks there as I was unable to give the adequate points for the marks. I hope this result won't affect the NZ trip.

Went to watch Spider-man 3 with Wei Cheng, Alvin, Jia Hao, Choon Tat, Edwin and Wei Yao. We went to Causeway initially to watch it but by the time we got there, the only available slot was at 9 or 11+. We then headed to Lot 1 and checked the timing. The earlier slots were also fully taken as well. Headed to West Mall to test our luck. There was a long queue outside the cinema. We decided to take the risk by queuing up. Fortunately, we managed to get the 6.45pm slot but it was the front seats. At least it was better than nothing. What can we expect when it is a Public Holiday and that the first two movies were already well-received? The story is quite nice, with many villains and one of them changed to help Spider-man. Left the cinema at about 9pm.

One thing I learnt today: Never watch movie at night when you are having exams the next day, especially two exams. Now I am burning the oil to complete my revision.
