GOOD JOB SEC 1 and 2 CHOIR MEMBERS!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!!
Went to the doctor to check up on my eye. Turns out my left eye had an infection. Fortunately it was not very serious and the doctor prescribe an antibiotic eye drop which was to be applied every hour on the first day and every 2 hours on the second day. Then went for lunch at Food Culture along with Wei Hao, Sarah, Cheryl, Wei Cheng, Hui Koon, Alvin, Choon Tat, You Yang. We then went down and met up with Wan Jia in Lot 1. We took the MRT down to Bukit Gombak and Xian Feng joined us. Continued down and changed train at Jurong East. We arrived at Kallang MRT and met Wan Zhen there and got the shuttle service to the Singapore Indoor Stadium. We got to our seats and there was a goodie bag at each seats. Then Madeleine and Jackie joined us. The event started with the emcee leading the crowds to cheer and then Hady Mirza came with 3 songs to sing. Then after some marching of the contingents, Mr Lee Hsien Long arrived as the Reviewing Officer and there was the National Anthem. Couldn't really hear the choir clearly then. Then there was the display of the different police divisions. Nearing the end of the parade, the choir finish up with 3 more songs. The 2nd song was sang by 9 different people from each of the ASEAN countries, Hady being the representative for Singapore and the chorus was sang along by the choir. Overall, the performance was very well though there was some problems with the PA system. After the parade ended, we took group photos with the juniors. There was also photos with Mr Liew and Ms Lee.
Then the seniors proceeded to Marina Square to have our dinner. Some of the NPCCs followed us, namely Jia Hao, Edwin, Chee Yang and Syafiq. Took quite a while to find a place to sit the 16 of us. Then we walked around Marina Square. Cheryl, Wan Jia and Wan Zhen went off by themselves to buy some things and took bus home after getting their stuff. Wei Cheng, Xian Feng and Choon Tat went to the PC fair to buy some things. Sarah, Wei Hao, Syafiq and You Yang went off first as they couldn't stay late. Then the rest of us waited for Wei Cheng, Xian Feng and Choon Tat at Marina Bay where we waited so we could get seats. Reached home about 11pm. At the end of the day, my left eye became more red and my right eye began to turn slightly red as well.
Sigh. Still have lessons for one more week.
