Met up with Aik Hao at Woodlands MRT to go Toa Payoh to find Xian Feng and Alvin. Xian Feng wanted to sell his old handphone at one of the shops there. Waited at Toa Payoh for a long time. Alvin took a bus and said he is reaching soon when he took almost 20 min+ to arrive. Xian Feng joined us from Outram Park. We walked around the whole of Toa Payoh area just to find that specific shop which Alvin said would offer 'high' price for the phone that Xian Feng wanted to sell. In the end, it was sold for $110. Some how we felt that we were cheated by the stall. We asked around and one of the shops could actually offer $120 for it. Then we took the train to Dhoby Ghaut to find Wei Cheng and the others. Walked over to the Grand Cathay and managed to find the LAN shop where the others were there. Edwin, Hui Koon, Jia Hao, Choon Tat and Wei Cheng were there playing Counter-Strike. Then we joined them for a few games. The five of them were one team while the rest of us were the other. We were outnumbered and lost many rounds. Then we walked over to one shop which Xian Feng recommended. The wanton noodles was quite nice. Then we walked all the way to Bugis and took the train from there to City Hall and walked another long distance to Suntec Conventional Hall where PC fair was held. It was pretty crowded. In the end, Xian Feng managed to get a graphic card only. Then we walked around looking for a shop to buy drinks. We were separated from Alvin and Jia Hao who went off by themselves. On our way, my left eye was giving problems. My left eye was red and some pus came out. I removed the left contact lens and the eye was still red. I think I might have eye infection on the left. After walking for a long time, Alvin told us that he and Jia Hao were at the MRT station waiting for us. When we got there, they were not in sight. We then waited until they arrived. We took the train to Marina Bay so we could sit down throughout the journey to our respective stations. By the time we reached CCK, it was pretty late and most buses were off-duty already so I walked home.
Bah! Going to the clinic tomorrow to have a check-up on that eye. Hopefully it is not very serious.
Good luck to the Sec 1 and 2 UniqVoices on the Police Day Parade tomorrow.
