Happy 16th Birthday Syafiq.

Our Vice-chairperson for two consecutive years. Really need to thank him for bringing the class well for the past year. Good luck to him for the 'O' Levels.

Went to Hui Jie's condo at about 2.30pm. Met Aik Hao, Pei Qi and Xian Feng at 1.30pm+ for lunch. Then head over to NTUC to buy some snacks. Saw Choon Tat as we were heading to the condo After reaching the condo, Xing Wei, Ashilah and Wee How were already there, with the cake and some jellies. We watched movies for a while while waiting for Syafiq. Then Zahid, Benedict, Ricky, Razis came. Played table tennis and pool there. Left the condo at about 7pm.

Just came back from Wushu.

At the Community Centre, Coach Vincent and Coach Xin Ru talked to those who were competing that there would not be any coach except 3 for the training as most of them had to go for some course or something. Then while training, some people from Mediacorp came and asked some people whether they would want to be cast as some background actors in a movie starring Jason Scott Lee. The movie is Dance of the Dragon I suppose. They required about 20 adults and 20 children and I was one of those being asked but had to turn down as I was not sure whether I had the time next week. Sadly, I gave away a chance to experience being involved in a movie. Then did my spear routine throughout the whole thing. Went for dinner/supper after that.

Good job Choir as well as other performers.

Went to Woodlands library to watch the performance put up by some of the Unity Sec students. Supposedly to meet Edwin at 1pm+ but turns out he never turned up on time so I went in to Woodlands Regional Library myself. Upon entering the library, I saw the booth set up by our school students and saw Hong Yuan as well. Then I went into the basement where the auditorium was and saw many of the Unity people there. Amirah, Irwan and some other SCs were there to usher the people. In the auditorium, saw Sarah, Don and another friend sitting in the back row. Then saw my Sec 2 junior, Alvin, Sufia and Darshan performing with the school dance troupe. Watched the rehearsals for a while. Then Sarah and her friends went off to watch the NDP preview. Then went to find the choir and sat with them. About half an hour before the performance started, Mr Liew and I went to get some buns for the choir as some of them were getting hungry. Upon going back to the auditorium, it was raining again. Back at the library, went to get a seat. As the performance was in progress, saw some other Unity people. Judy, Gary and some of the girls I forget the name, Edwin, Jia Hao, Chee Yang, Alvin, Wee How, Wan Jia, Kang Yi, Nelson, Leonard, Cheryl, Yu Yong, Christopher and many others. The performance was quite nice. The band was not bad for most of the parts. The choir was not that bad either. After the whole performance ended, we all went to the holding area and the performers were treated to a mini-buffet. Then others were also allowed to eat. In the holding area, Wee How and the group came and the choir and band members sang 'Happy Birthday' to Wan Zhen. She was so touched that she cried.

After that, we went towards Causeway Point and walked around. Couldn't find a place to cut the cake for Wan Zhen. Then we headed to Edwin's condo to do it. Hui Jie joined us shortly. Had the cake and played with the lighter. There is a video of it in Alvin's blog. After that headed to Lot 1 and walked around and dinner and Food Culture. Went to arcade to play after that. At about 9.20, we left the place. Headed to my cousin's house to celebrate her early birthday. Many people were there, mostly her friends and other cousins. Played cards until about 12am, then went home.

Perhaps one of the most fun CIP?

Woke up early in the morning and rushed to the MRT station. Met Ashilah and Zahid and headed to Woodlands. Yi Jie was there pretty early. Waited for Aik Hao, Benedict, Syafiq, Pei Qi, Alvin, Hui Jie, Asyraf, Razis, Choon Tat, Delson and Clement. Then we headed to the meeting point where many others were there. Some other schools were participating as well, such as West Spring Secondary School. We were all divided into different groups. Me, Yi Jie and Yu Yan, an ex-Evergreen Sec student, were sent to collect newspapers from block 871 to 873. First bock was 871. We got only about a few newspapers out of 10 floors. Then Yu Yan waited block 871 while me and Yi Jie went to do block 872. Got quite a lot doing the 4 out of the 12 floors. Headed back to the meeting point to put the stuff and then it was me and Yu Yan doing the remaining few floors. Did a few more floors and got quite a lot as well. Switched over again and Yi Jie and Yu Yan did the remaining of that building. Block 873 was the most tiring. Many of them had lots of stacks of newspapers. After that, we waited for like 2 hours for the truck to come. Loaded everything and headed to block 868 or 848, cant remember which. There were quite a lot of newspapers and old clothings collected there. After loading, me, Hui Jie and the group leader, Ye Ling headed to block 806 to help in unloading everything. Spent close to an hour half unloading. Took a group photo with some of the Ngee Ann Poly students. Then headed for Causeway to get tickets for Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix.

Once at the ticket counter, we managed to get the front row seats again for the 8pm slot. Went to Alvin's house to play his DS while waiting for time to pass. Went back to Causeway Point at about 7.30pm and waited for the others. The movie was quite nice, except that many nice scenes were cut off, such as the Quidditch. Left the building after the movie at about 10.20pm.

Happy 16th Birthday Guo Hong.

Know him only this year. Quite a friendly and helpful guy. His spear routine is quite good. He is also a loyal friend as well. Good luck for the Nationals competition in the coming month and the 'O' levels.

Went Wufang training today. Yao De and some others arrived with the cake and the bags to make water bomb. Filled the water bomb for about 20mins or so. Then we headed for training. Played basketball for warm-up and then some stretching. Then some basic stances. I could not do the 'Xuan Zi' for today as my right leg would pain me if I exert too much energy on it. Then we did routines in parts. Before everything ended, we each did a full routine. After that, we played water bomb and threw at the birthday boy, Guo Hong. Pretty chaotic. Went to Newton Food Centre to cut the cake and had supper. Left the place about 11.20pm.

Went to Marina Square today to celebrate Li Jun's birthday. Reached City Hall at about 6.40pm. Took a quick walk to Marina Square and heard the sound of fighter planes. Only then I realised that it was the NDP Preview at the new Marina Floating Platform. Reached Yuki Yaki a few minutes past 6.45pm. Once there, I waited for some others to arrive. Guo Hong came and we went to the Liang Sheng shopto look at some of the items there. Then we headed back to Yuki Yaki and went inside to find the others. Coach Wen Xin, Ye Huei, Zhen Ling, Melissa and Coach Guo were already inside. Sat down and waited for the rest to come. Then Li Jun, Coach Xin Ru and her daughter Michelle, Bing Han, Yao De and Yan De arrived and followed by Coach Xue and his wife. The food was quite nice and more variety than Seoul Garden. Finished eating at about 9.10pm. Then we headed to the bowling alley to play. It was the male VS female game. The first round was sort of a warm-up. While playing, we saw quite a few of other Wufang people, Jin Hong, Coach Wen Xin's boyfriend and Coach Vincent and his girlfriend came to join us. Coach Rui Yan and her boyfriend happened to pass by. Coach Jun Ming and his girlfriend and another person from Wufang also came to play bowling but at different lane. After the second game, my team won and we only need to pay for one game while the other had to pay for 3. Then Melissa, Yao De and I tried to play the stacker game at K-Box but did not win. Then we all went our separate ways for our transport home. Me, Melissa, Li Jun and Coach Guo took a cab home. Had so much fun today. Photos will be coming once I get them.

Went to Republic Polytechnic yesterday for Wushu training. At Woodlands MRT, I wasn't sure how to get there. Then I asked a passer-by who told me to walk in the direction of Innova JC. After walking that direction for a while, I had a hunch I was going the wrong direction and called my friend for the correct direction. Once at the Polytechnic, headed to the Agora Hall where the training was held. There was a carpet for the training. The Republic Polytechnic wushu team was quite good. Did half of the spear routine for a start. Then whole routine after that. After everything ended, some of us did some stunts on the carpet. A lot of people tried to do freehand cartwheel. Some were trying to do 'Xuan Zi 360' and back flip. I finally managed to do freehand cartwheel on the carpet. Went home at about 9pm+.

111th post. What a nice number.

Met some people for breakfast at Mac in the morning. After that, walked to school and saw a dead rat. Could this a bad omen? Lessons as per normal. After school, had Chinese 'O' Levels Oral Exam. Was the last in line. The passage was quite okay, with two words pronounced wrongly. Then the conversation part was the worst. It was asking about the new facilities that the government had planned for the disabled, such as the platform that allows the wheelchair-bound people to board public transport easily. I couldn't explain it well in Chinese. Back to class, had a History open book test as we weren't told about it. Then had Geography Retest on two questions. After that, went for wushu. Warm-up was quite okay, did a lot of the jumping. I finally did a very good 'xuan zi', not once but quite a few times. I am proud that I have improved after so many trainings. Then those competing did the routines. Some people's spear broke while doing the routine. Guo Hong's spearhead came out with part of the wood. Kai Lun's spearhead came out only. After that, went for supper at Newton Food Centre. Ordered 3 drinks and a duck noodle. The noodle was very sour as my friend told me the people put a lot of vinegar in it. Left the place at 11.30pm and reached home at 12.30am. Off to sleep now. Only have 4 hours of sleep left =(

Went back to South View Primary School for the South View Open House, followed by movie and Seoul Garden.

Started out meeting Hui Ling opposite the CCK Polyclinic. Then we walked to South View. Changed quite a lot in just a year. Walked around, many unfamiliar faces and not many I know. Saw Wee Hao, Pearlynne and some others whom I do not know. Then saw my teacher, Ms Pang there and my aunt. I really miss South View, especially now that it is air-conditioned. At the outdoor stage, some of the teachers were demonstrating some dance moves. Mr Naza was on stage as well. Left the school and saw Dhamiri on the way out. Met Xian Feng and Wei Yao at Woodlands MRT station. Then we headed for the cinema. On our way up, we saw Judy and some of the netball girls. They were going to watch Transformers. Upon reaching the cinema, Aik Hao, Benedict, Ashilah, Pei Qi, Yi Jie, Alvin and Choon Tat were already waiting there. Then Syafiq and Zahid came. We tried to get tickets for the earlier slots but could not get it. The only slots that was early was 4.10pm and it was the front row seats. Having no choice we took that seat. The movie was pretty nice, with the robots alternating between its vehicle and robot mode. After the movie, we headed to Seoul Garden. There were 12 of us and the total bill came out to be $301.30, inclusive of GST and drinks. Wei Cheng, Hui Koon, Jia Hao, Edwin, Ming Shu and Hong Yuan were already eating. After a while of cooking, some people went to buy a cake to celebrate Xian Feng's birthday. We walked around Causeway Point for a while before going home.
