All the best for the Sec 1s, Sec 2s an Sec 3s in their End-of-Year Exams.
@ 6:52 PM

Here are my prelim results.

English - C5
Chinese ('O's results) - B4
E Maths - A2
Sc (Chem/Bio) - B3
Pure Geography - B4
CH (SS/Hist) - C5
A Maths - E8

L1 R4 : 18
L1 R5 : 23

English results was not my expectation. The comprehension was marked too strictly. Happy for my E Maths results. First time got distinction for exams in maths. But I could have gotten A1 for it if not for the mistake in the graph question. I expected A2 for Sciences as for once, I managed to get a B4 or B3 for Biology and my Chemistry was always B3 or better. I also improved for my Pure Geography. Thanks to my MCQ, which I got 35/40, my overall was brought up with my paper 2 getting 48/100. Combine Humanities was a bit disappointing as I was only a few marks off from B4. No comments for A Maths, except that I did improved a bit. From F9 to a E8. Most of my results were borderline of the grades that I got.

Right now, aiming to upgrade my results to the following. A bit ambiguous for some of the subjects.

English - B3
E Maths - A2
Science - A2
Combine Humanities - B3
Pure Geography - B4
A Maths - C6-C5

L1 R4: 14
L1 R5: 18

Making this as short as I can.

It was raining heavily during the training. Only a few people came. Learned finished the entire Competitive Changquan routine. Then went over to Newton Food Centre for some drinks. Saw Chen Hanwei there, the guy who is acting as Ouyang in the channel 8 drama, Metamorphosis. Seems like a lot of Mediacorp artiste like to go there for supper. Saw Jacelyn Tay at there on Tuesday too. Then before going home, Coach Vincent gave me a Adidas bag as a gift for helping out with the SingaPOPera! performance and also as a birthday present I think.

Totally random.

Top left: Red Wufang Logo black shirt. Got this shirt a few months after Wufang move from Mediacorp to Cairnhill CC.
Top right: The initial red Wufang Logo black shirt. This was the first shirt that was gotten when I first joined Wufang.
Bottom left: Gold Wufang Logo Black Shirt. This shirt was given to those who had learned the basics of fist, sword, broadsword, spear and cudgel. The gold for my shirt has faded off.
Bottom right: Red Wufang Logo White Shirt. Got this shirt from Coach Vincent when I went to help out with the SingaPOPera peformance.

Still had one more shirt which I couldn't find it.

Happy 16th Birthday Benedict.

Know him from PA. Always the one getting bullied by other people. All the best to him in his 'O' Levels and also in his relationship with EDA.

What a tiring day.

Firstly, Happy 21st Birthday Jin Hong!!! And thanks for the buffet treat.
Secondly, thanks Karen for the early birthday present.

Met Kai Lun at Orchard MRT. Then we walked a long way under the drizzle to the Orchard Hotel where the buffet was held. Karen was one of the earliest of the Wufang people. The others there were Jin Hong's friends, family and relatives. We help ourselves to the food first while waiting for the rest to come. The buffet was totally grand. All the food were made very nice. Slowly more people arrived. Then there was this red wine with 13.5% alcohol and XO being passed around. Drank the red wine and wasn't really used to it but slowly could drink it all down. The XO was pretty strong as just one tiny seep could make you feel the spiciness in it. The cake was cut at about 9.30pm. Then we sat around and help ourselves to the food and drinks until near 11pm. Then all of us left. Got a ride from Coach Xue to Bukit Batok MRT station.

Didn't know that other country had many good martial arts exponents as well.

Went for the 7th National Wushu Display held in the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Met up with some of the Wufang people at the entrance there. Once we got in, we head over to our seat where the performance was just starting. The Minister for Education and Singapore president's wife was there watching the performance as well. First performance was by Nan Xian Lion Dance which won the Ngee Ann City Lion Dance Competition held a week or so ago. It was remarkable as the Lion Dancers were very agile and stable throughout their performance. Following up was the two person team from Russia. The female was much better than the male. She did Southern Fist (Nan Quan), Spear and another routine which I forgot. The guy did spear, nine-section whip and Pu Dao. They also had one sparring which both of them used sword (Jian). There were lots of Taiji Quan performance there. There were also performances by kids from Tao Nan School and Xin Xiu Wushu Academy. Silat (Malay Martial Arts) was performed by the Singapore Silat Federation. China also had representative in the performance. There was a group of them which was doing those warm-up exercise such as jumping and kicking. The way they did was totally better than what we did here. Their jumps seem effortless. There were two groups of Shaolin monks doing their share as well. One was from Mt Songshan. It consist of 3 young monks and 2 slightly older monks. Their performance included Two-Finger Handstand by one of the young monks, Monkey Cudgel and some others. Another group was from North America Shaolin Temple. There was only one Caucasian monk in that group. Their performance was also outstanding as well. Towards the ending of the performance, there was a group from India which displayed their style of Martial Arts. Then was a group from Malaysia which was quite plausible as they were really very good. The second last group was the same group of China rep which did their routine which was totally cool. The finale performance was a Dragon Dance. The whole performance ended 10pm+ which was beyond the scheduled time of 9.45pm.

After that, the big group of Wufang people were deciding where we should have supper. Eventually we head over to the food court at Old Airport Road. There was about 20 of us there and we squeezed into 5 cars. Left the place about 12am.

Prelims started. And happy birthday to two of of friends.

Firstly to Alvin, whose birthday was yesterday actually. Known him since Sec 1. Same Chinese class and always quite talkative. Through this four years, we are still in the same Chinese class. He should try to slim down if he wants to have what he wants. Good luck to him for the ongoing prelims and also the 'O' Levels.

Secondly to Aik Hao, whose birthday will be tomorrow. Known him since Sec 1 as well. We were both in the PA. Got to know him better in Sec 3. Quite a outgoing person. Good luck to him for the ongoing prelims and 'O' levels as well and also be good to her.

The first prelim papers started today. English paper 1 was relatively easy I supposed. Was able to write quite a lot for the essay. Paper II was quite careless though. The very answer for the first question was actually just a simple word 'await'. Then Geography Paper 1 I found it relatively easy as well with a few careless too. After that when over to Aik Hao's house before we head over to meet the others to celebrate Aik Hao and Alvin's birthday at Jurong Point Pizza Hut. Reached Marsiling and met up with Jia Hao and Alvin and following up was Yi Jie at Kranji MRT. Met Ashilah, Wee How at the Jurong East MRT and waited for Xian Feng and Wei Cheng. Then head over to Boon Lay and went over to the Pizza Hut. We ordered two Pizza Group Set and One Cheese Fondue set. Then some of us ordered a bit more. Total up, we spent about $100+ which half of it was paid with the voucher Alvin and Aik Hao got for doing the National Weather Project. Then we walked around JP before leaving the place.

It's 2.34am!!!! Just came home about half and hour ago.

Met Hao Meng and Guo Hong at Dhoby Ghaut MRT station at about 12pm. We were getting ready the necessary stuff for the BBQ at Coach Vincent's house. Went to the Carrefour at Plaza Singapura. There was this event on the High School Musical 2 there. We took about half an hour or so to get all the necessary. Total up, the price was about $57.00+. Then we carried the stuff and took MRT to Kembangan. From there, we cabbed our way to the condominium. We were the earliest to reach there. We reached at about 2.30pm. Slacked around there and then when Coach Vincent arrived with his girlfriend, we went up with him to put all the stuff in the house. We then went into a room and listened to music. After that, we watch a bit of the movie Click and Danielle arrived. Then we went down to start the fire for the BBQ. We spent like half an hour just to get the fire going but it did not went well. Soon later, Coach Xin Ru arrived with the charcoals and fire starters. Then Coach Vincent came and started to make the fire bigger. It took only a while before the fire became big. Then we started a bit of the BBQ. Slowly, more people arrived.
Melissa, Kelvin and his sister, Kai Lun, Bryan and his family, some other Wufang kids and many others. There was about 30-40 people for the BBQ. The whole BBQ lasted until about 10pm. Then some of the people mixed Vodka and 7-UP and also Whisky with Coca-Cola. I drank 3 cups of the Vodka mixture and 1 cup of the Whisky mixture as the Whisky mixture was much more stronger. My head was burning after the drinks. At about 11pm, quite a number of people left. I stayed on as I was waiting for Jaryl's teacher to bring me home. Some of them were staying overnight there. Left at about 1am and Jaryl's teacher fetched Coach Vincent's girlfriend's friends home and then me. Reached home a few minutes before 2am.

Another tiring day!!!!!!! 3 down, no more to go.

Reached Clementi at 2.15pm, initially thinking that they were meeting at the same time again but in the end I ended up taking the bus to NUS UCC alone. Reached the place at exactly 3pm. Walked around there and sat in the room for Wufang until about 4.30pm when the others arrived. We then head over to the room where food was ready. After that we went back to our dressing room and then they changed into their performance costume and put on the make-up. Wished some of the performers luck in the performance. As usual, everything went quite well for the performance. After the whole thing ended, they all gathered for a group photo. Then some of the performers took photo with Coach Vincent and some of the Wufang people took photos with the other performers. Being a helper has a disadvantage, I couldn't get a chance to take photo with the other performers. Then everyone changed out of their costume and also some tried to get contact details with other performers. Hao Meng managed to get one of the dancers email and Jaryl and Bing Han got the number of the dancer mentioned in the earlier post. Then we got a ride to West Mall where Coach Vincent treated us to watch movie, Ratatouille. On our way there, Colin's mother bought tickets for us for the movie. It was at 11.20pm. Coach's girlfriend was there waiting for us as well. The movie was quite nice. The storyline was interesting and it was quite humourous. It ended at about 1.10am. Then we went down to the carpark and Colin walked home while Hao Meng took a cab. The rest of us were sent home by Coach Vincent.

What a long and tiring day!!!!

Was almost late for school today. Then morning assembly begin and then after that was warm-up before the mass walk. Just walked a distance outside and back to school again. Waited in class for a while then we head over to the hall for the Teacher's Day performance. Saw many of the graduated seniors, Swee Sin, Geraldine Lim, Michelle. The performance was quite nice. Then head back to the class to celebrate with our teacher Mrs Naza. Cut the cake and then chat around. Went over to Hui Jie's house after that at 12pm to play pool. There was me, Wei Cheng, Alvin, Xian Zheng, Benedict, Hui Jie and Choon Tat. Played until about 1pm before going back to South View Primary. On my way there, I saw Clement who just left SV. Back at South View, saw many of my class friends there. Ming Soon, Teng Wei, Mervin, Bernard, Edwin, Pei Xian, Dhamiri, Ricky, Shi Hui, Silvia, Wan Jia, Sin Rui, Zhi Yu, Kai Lin and Xue Ying. Then we signed the card that was to be given to our form teacher then, Ms Pang. We talked around and then went to find our Chinese teacher Ms Chiang. Saw Azfar and Ming Qian there as well. About 2pm+, we head for Lot 1. They were deciding on watching Ratatouille. Walked around with them in Lot 1. Saw some SVers there and my choir junior Li Ting there as well as Wei Hao, Sarah, Stella and Elton. After buying the tickets, I left my friends as I had to head over to NUS UCC again for the Soundwave show. At Clementi MRT, I saw another SVer, Jun Li. Took bus 96 from Clementi interchange all the way to the UCC. Once there, I met Coach Vincent and head down to the Wufang changing room. We then head over to rehearse until 6pm before they were dismissed for break. Jaryl's teacher, Mr Tan, came over to find us and brought some food and drinks along. The actual performance began at about 8pm. It went quite well and not much mistakes happened. After that, we went over to the reception area where food was prepared. Then we walked around and some of the Wufang people took pictures with the dancers, the actors, the MPs and others. Then we head over to Holland Village where Coach Vincent treated us to the food there. Left the place about 11pm+ and then Mr Tan sent Colin, me, Jaryl and Bing Han home. When I reached home, I saw Syafiq, Razis, Zahid and Fazrul cycling past. Talked with them and then went up.
