Didn't know that other country had many good martial arts exponents as well.

Went for the 7th National Wushu Display held in the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Met up with some of the Wufang people at the entrance there. Once we got in, we head over to our seat where the performance was just starting. The Minister for Education and Singapore president's wife was there watching the performance as well. First performance was by Nan Xian Lion Dance which won the Ngee Ann City Lion Dance Competition held a week or so ago. It was remarkable as the Lion Dancers were very agile and stable throughout their performance. Following up was the two person team from Russia. The female was much better than the male. She did Southern Fist (Nan Quan), Spear and another routine which I forgot. The guy did spear, nine-section whip and Pu Dao. They also had one sparring which both of them used sword (Jian). There were lots of Taiji Quan performance there. There were also performances by kids from Tao Nan School and Xin Xiu Wushu Academy. Silat (Malay Martial Arts) was performed by the Singapore Silat Federation. China also had representative in the performance. There was a group of them which was doing those warm-up exercise such as jumping and kicking. The way they did was totally better than what we did here. Their jumps seem effortless. There were two groups of Shaolin monks doing their share as well. One was from Mt Songshan. It consist of 3 young monks and 2 slightly older monks. Their performance included Two-Finger Handstand by one of the young monks, Monkey Cudgel and some others. Another group was from North America Shaolin Temple. There was only one Caucasian monk in that group. Their performance was also outstanding as well. Towards the ending of the performance, there was a group from India which displayed their style of Martial Arts. Then was a group from Malaysia which was quite plausible as they were really very good. The second last group was the same group of China rep which did their routine which was totally cool. The finale performance was a Dragon Dance. The whole performance ended 10pm+ which was beyond the scheduled time of 9.45pm.

After that, the big group of Wufang people were deciding where we should have supper. Eventually we head over to the food court at Old Airport Road. There was about 20 of us there and we squeezed into 5 cars. Left the place about 12am.
