@ 1:08 AM
Early morning was totally damn crap.
Played PSP in the morning from about 8am+ to 9am+. After that, left for home and changed and had lunch. Head over to Choa Chu Kang MRT station and waited for Benedict. Then waited for Eda at Yew Tee MRT station. Soon we had our long ride to Orchard. It was the first time the 3 of us went out together. Upon reaching Orchard, we headed to Wisma Atria where Benedict wanted to go to the Sony Ericsson shop to service his phone. After that, we walked over to Far East Plaza and bought my prom top. Initially I felt black colour was better but the staff recommended white. Then took white colour and just a few minutes after we left the shop, decided to change it to black again. Then we headed to Long John Silver to have our food. After that, in order to waste time, we walked all the way to Plaza Singapura at Dhoby Ghaut. Once there, we head up to the arcade and played. For once, I actually played until I got a blister on one of my fingers. Then we head over to the MRT station and I took the train with them back to Orchard as they were going to wait for Eda's brother to come. Then got off the train and thought of waiting for Wei Cheng who was with his girlfriend. But then in the end head over to Tanjong Pagar alone. Waited for Wei Cheng, Cheryl and Su Ling and we went up to find the other choir members. Walked a few traffic lights to the Singapore Conference Hall.
Once seated, we wait for the programme to begin. First up was Henderson choir bringing to us four songs. The first was 'Heavens Are Telling'. It was pretty shaky in the beginning but it ended well. Second song was 'Just a Single Voice'. It was much better than the first one. Then was the 'Unpainted Canvas' which was also nice. Last song was 'Love Changes Everything'. I think that our school was better in that song. Then following up their performance was a violin solo by one of the Henderson students. He was quite good in it. The guest performers, Gan Eng Seng Primary School choir was up next. They sang Princess Mononoke which was quite nice. Followed up were Sing a Song of Sixpence, Can You Hear Me?, When I Close My Eyes. Then it was a break. After the break, we were brought a performance by the dance troupe of Henderson Sec. Their dance was nice which earned them the Silver in this year's SYF competition. Then it was some Silat performance by their NA and NT students. Hip-hop was next was nice too. Then there was these two soloists who sang 'When You Believe'. One of the girls, who was said to have been in the top 25 in the Campus Superstar this year, did not sing as well as I thought. Her voice was shaky and went off a few times. The other soloist was better. Continuing was another dance by the dance troupe. They were dancing Shango, a mixture of contemporary dance and Indian dance. It was also nice. The finale performance was an extract of the musical
Grease. The Henderson choir members put up a good performance for that. Then like any performance, there would be flower giving to the Guest-of-Honour who was Mr Iskandar Jalil. After that, we all head over to the MRT station where the choir members had to stay in school for one final night before they break camp the next day. The seniors: Me, Suling, Cheryl and Wei Cheng changed train at Outram Park and head over to Clarke Quay. Once there, we walked a big round to find a place to eat. Eventually we picked a Satay Club there. The food was expensive but some were quite nice. After that, we left and head over to the MRT station and waited for 190 at the bus stop. Had a long bus ride to my house. Reached home about 12.15am.
