*YAWN!!!*

Just reached home about half an hour ago. Today I went to Vincent's house to bai nian. Met up with Jin Hong, Jaryl, Kai Lun, Robin and Yan De to go there. Initially we wanted to take the bus but we lazy to walked to the bus stop so we took a cab there. Once there, Zhi Yong already arrived before us. The place was pretty big and there was access to the roof. Vincent's girlfriend was there as well as his mother and sister. We started off watching TV and snacking. Then at about 4pm or so, more people arrived and the gambling began. We played Black Jack first. Xin Ru was the banker for the whole time and she earned quite a lot. Some people left and even more people arrived. I think there was like 20-25 people there. It continued to about 7-8pm and then we switched to playing In Between. It was pretty fun but I did not manage to win back what I brought though I only lost a little. Then I went up to the rooftop with some others. It had a pretty good view of the sky from there. You can see many stars clearly. At about 9pm, the pizza arrived. Then watched soccer until about 10pm and left with Kai Lun, Jaryl and Karen by cab.

Another late posting again.

Went to Cairnhill CC in the afternoon for the Chinese New Year performance. Helped to set up the chairs and remove the plastic from the oranges. Then went to change and revise the routine. Did the same routine as before. This time, not much mistake was made. After the performance, we change out of our costume and had the buffet there. Left the CC at about 5pm to go Wei Cheng house.

Once there, there were many people. Alvin, Xian Feng, Edwin, Pei Zhen, Cheryl, Dao Jun, Lee Feng, Kang Yi, Hui Koon, Xian Zheng, Hui Yi, Iris and her sister, Ming Shu, Yuan Sheng, Jia Hao, Sarah Ho were already there. Quite a few of Wei Cheng's relatives were there as well. Then Wan Jia and Wan Zhen arrived. Following behind a few minutes later, Chee Yang, Jesper, Cynthia, Carinen and Germain arrived. Played around until about 7pm or so. My luck was pretty bad as I did not win anything. Then we had a small buffet at Wei Cheng house. After we toss the yu sheng, we continued playing. We watched the Chingay as well. Pity I could not see my friend there. Some of us tried to play Dota but somehow it could not connect. Then we went down to play the sparklers and bomb bag. We walked over to a basketball court to play. Then some of us played basketball while the others finish up the sparklers and bomb bag. Then they played a game of Iceman. A few of them were fell down while playing the game. After that, some peopel went off and we went back to Wei Cheng's hosue again to play a few rounds before we go. I played mahjong with some of the people there. I could not win as well. At about 11pm+, all of us decided to go off. Xian Feng went off first with Hui Yi. Then Alvin, Choon Tat, Jia Hao and a few walked to MRT station or the nearest bus stop. Me, Kang Yi, Edwin, Wan Jia, Wan Zhen, Cheryl and Sarah got a ride from Wan Jia's parents to CCK MRT staton. It was pretty breezy sitting at the back.

So tired nowadays, always sleeping at 2-3am and waking up very late.

It has been a very tiring day again. Only had like 4 hours of sleep before waking up. Brought my cudgel to school and a lot of people kept asking me what it was. Some of them actually believe it was a fishing rod. Then after school had maths AEP and choir after that. The sectionals went quite ok. Then at 5pm, we left for dinner break. After that, I rushed back to school to prepare for the performance at night. I managed to get excused from the instructor. Then once at Cainrhill CC, quite a few of the people were already there. I went to change and had make-up put on by the females there. We all receive an angbao from Vincent as a token of appreciation for helping in the performance. There was a bus prepared for us to Bukit Merah where the performance is taking place. On our way there, we saw the chingay preparation. It is pretty nice. I advise all to watch it on TV on Saturday at 7 or 8pm on Channel 8. Then when we reach the place, there was screening before entering. This is because the MM Lee Kuan Yew was there so security was tighter. Then after his speech, we performed our routines. Some had a bit of mistakes made. Overall it went pretty well. Then we went back to Newton to collect our stuffs and changed. Head over to the food centre to have supper before leaving there.

Have another performance on Saturday at Cairnhill. Then will be heading to Wei Cheng's house to bai nian. Would be brining my laptop along. Then on Sunday will be going to Vincent's house to bai nian.

End of the first day of the Chinese New Year.

Had a very heavy lunch at home today. There was shark fin, abalone and scallop. Then rested at home until about 6pm before departing to my grandmother's house again. Dinner started quite early at 7pm. We had steamboat. Then watched TV and played computer. I played the Game of Life with my little cousins. I ended up winning the game with $1,345,000 =) Then went back home after that. Counted my hong baos collected in the past 2-3 days. Got $350, which was pretty much less than what I got last year. Oh well, hope I can get more next year.

Went back to my house in CCK as my father was fetching me and my brother from there to our grandmother's house. At CCk, I ransacked my whole room in search of my primary school class photo. After searching for like 20 mins, I finally found it. I also found some photos taken when I was in my primary school CCA, Science Club. It was pretty fun there. We had excursions to the Zoo or Bird Park almost every week. Sometimes we get to go to the Science Centre. Best of all, we did not have to pay for the entrance fee for Zoo and Bird park. There was once we had a 'camp' there. It was not really a whole day camp. We went there in the morning and left at about 4-5pm+ and it lasted for two days. I got quite a lot of souvenirs from the zoo. Hopefully next time I will try to post the souvenirs or bring them to the school. Will be uploading the others photos as soon as possible.

Back to the point, we went to my grandmother's house. Had steamboat over there. Ate nothing much as I had already eaten a lot before going there. After that, they wanted to go to pray at some place but I wanted to go home so I left for the MRT station and on the MRT, I SMSed New Year greetings to all.

Decided to change the layout for my blog. Took about 45mins to figure out the codings. IN a few days or so I will try to add in pictures and make the layout much better. Here's a survey Alvin asked me to do. EDIT: The survey has been removed until it is fully completed.

HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY IRIS WONG

This girl is the sister of Pearlynn. She is currently in choir and is a soprano. Nothing else to write since I only know her for about 2 months. Good luck in the SYF Competition. Last but not least, wish you a happy birthday.

Thursday

It is Total Defence Day. Went to school and bought a wafer on the way there. Then lessons as per normal. Got a 12.5/25 for Geography test. Then during recess time, we were given some food rations. There was Black Pepper Chicken pasta, Chicken Dumpling and Gingko Nuts with Beancurd Skin. I got the beancurd one. It totally sucks. I could have finish it easily if not for the gingko nuts. I had a hard time trying to swallow it. Then went for wushu at night. Had one final rehearsal before the actual performance on the 23rd Feb.

Friday

Had Chinese New Year Celebration in school today. Got back my A Maths Test. Only got 5/20. During the Chinese New Year performance, the performance was pretty screwed up. I was scolded for no reasons by Ng Say Hong, saying what we should be more proactive and do a better job in the PA. If she thinks PA is so relaxed, why don't she do it herself. Seriously, a lot of teachers in the school take PA for granted. For everything we do good, for example setting up the PA for other performance, we don't get any credits or any thanks. When the system is screwed up, they swarm over us and complain that we are not doing our job.

Happy Valentine's Day to all

Another year of lonely Valentine for me. Here's a honest fact about me. I may have a few girls whom I like, but I do not have the courage to go up to them to confess it. Instead, if any of my good friends are to like the girl, I would wish them all the best and just want the girl to be happy with whoever she is with.

To build up the Valentine's atmosphere, I have uploaded a new music to my blog. It would most probably last one to two weeks before changing to another song.

Lyrics: Can You Feel the Love Tonight

I can see what's happ'ning
(What?)
And they don't have a clue!
(Who?)
They'll fall in love and here's the bottom line
Our trio's down to two
(Oh.)
The sweet caress of twilight
There's magic in the air
And with all this romantic atmosphere
Disaster's in the air

Can you feel the love tonight?
The peace the evening brings
The world, for once, in perfect harmony
With all its living things
So many things to tell her
But how to make her see
The truth about my past?
Impossible!
She'd turn away from me
He's holding back, he's hiding
But what, I can't decide
Why won't he be the king I know he is
The king I see inside?

Can you feel the love tonight?
The peace the evening brings
The world, for once, in perfect harmony
With all its living things

Can you feel the love tonight?
You needn't look too far
Stealing through the night's uncertainties
Love is where they are

And if he falls in love tonight
It can be assumed
His carefree days with us are history
In short, our pal is doomed

Today, I woke up early in the morning as usual to prepare for the Wushu Performance on the 23rd and 24th. Done with the finale and went for lunch at Newton Food Centre. Then I rushed home and change to meet Xian Feng and Edwin to buy their Valentine's Gift for their girlfriend. Initially we planned to go town to buy so we all wore jeans. We decided to walk around Lot 1 to see what can be bought there. Then we headed over to Bukit Panjang Plaza where we went for our dinner at KFC. We went up to Popular and Xian Feng bought something for his girlfriend. We saw this IQ test book from Mensa and it was really very IQ-testing. Then Xian Feng and Edwin decided to go back to Lot 1 to buy something from there. Before we left Bukit Panjang Plaza, we walked around the outside and went past Starbucks and there was this guy who gave out free samples of the Coffee Ice-Blended from Starbucks. It was rather nice and had a lot of cream. Then on our way to the bus interchange, we did some Parkour movements. In case you are wondering what it is, here's a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkour.

Think I should start writing reviews of people as well like what Alvin did to keep this blog alive. Just tag on the board or contact me through MSN if you want your review to be written.

Today had a very tiring flag day.

Met up with Alvin, Xian Feng and Edwin at the CCK LRT station. Then Choon Tat came rather late. After that we went for lunch at Long John Silver in Bukit Panjang Plaza with Delson and some others, all from 4/4 and 4/5. After that we went to the meet-up point and collected our tin. We started off walking around BP plaza for a few minutes but there was not many donations. Then we headed to CCK to get some donations. We walked from the CCK MRT station to Sunshine Place and back again. On our way to the MRT station, Choon Tat and Xian Feng went on their own through CCK while me, Alvin, Benedict and Kevin went to BP to do one last final collection. Then we went to sign off and went for dinner. After dinner, we walked around BPP to help Xian Feng and Edwin look for Valentine's present for their girl. Shall not spill the beans on what they are planning to buy. Most probably going to town tomorrow to see what XF and Edwin can get from there for Valentines.
