Sorry for the lack of updates. Have been busy with training and feeling quite restless. I will be flying off this Saturday until 12th March for competition in Hong Kong. Will try to update frequently when I'm back, especially on the events that happened in Hong Kong.

Post Chingay outing 2 (EMO DAY)

Met Myron, Kim Hong and Jia Hui at Kallang MRT station at 10am. Then we walked over to a nearby bus stop to board a bus to Parkway Parade. Went over to Mac for breakfast and also to meet up with the others, Chun Ying and John. Sorry I can't remember all the people over there. Head over to the Mac at East Coast Park where we waited for Cherie and Li Rong who were ending their shift at the Mac at 12pm.

On the way there, we met Benjamin and Catherine and some others that I don't know their name. Catherine had with her a cute little kitten and it was really damn cute. We then started skating around 12.30pm and Bing Han managed to arrive on time. It has been ages since I last skated, other than at last year's class outing. After a while, Evelyn joined us as well. After a few hours of skating, we decided to head back to the shop to return the skates. That was when we heard that Chun Ying fell and hurt her head, but it was not really that bad. Kelvin arrived after we had returned the skates.

After that we head back to Mac to sit down before some of us went down to the beach while some stayed behind to accompany Chun Ying. Then all head down to the beach to enjoy the breeze. Everyone was already quite tired and some had gone emo. We then head over to a hawker centre for dinner. After eating, we visited a pet shop and sat around the outside. Then something happened which made Kim Hong upset. Since then, she was like very emo. We head over to the bus stop deciding on the transport to Cineleisure. Eventually, we took a cab to there. Me, Bing Han, Kelvin and Myron shared a cab while Kim Hong, Jia Hui and Evelyn shared one.

Upon reaching, we met Jasmin and her friend outside Cineleisure. We head up to KBox where we saw one of the PAYM performer waiting for us there. We eventually decided on going down to Party World KTV as KBox seemed pretty expensive. Once at Party World, we began singing songs. We started singing. John, Cherie and Li Rong came, followed by two others whom I don't know their name but they were the back performers in the PAYM contingent. Jasmin and her friend came over as well. Some people left in between. I left at around 11pm and reached home at about 12.30am

POST CHINGAY GATHERING 1

Reached Chinatown MRT station slightly late than the meeting time. Jia Hui was the first one. The others were also late as well. Weiyi came, followed by Evelyn and Myron. We head over to the KTV first. We began singing songs once we were inside. It was damn fun inside. We played pillow fighting there as well. There was shark fin soup given to us. Casper came a bit later. Shortly after, Ji Zhou, Jasmin and another girl from Chingay as well came. After singing a few songs, me and Evelyn went play pool which was just outside the KTV room. Then one of the guy from the skaters during the Chingay performance came. He actually came just to see Evelyn. We continued playing pool for a while and then went back to the room again. We then played some games and forfeited the guy by making him do some embarrassing thing in front of us at Evelyn. Evelyn was also made to do some action on that guy. At 7pm, we left and had a walk around Chinatown. There was some CNY event going on, and we saw some of the floats that were used in the Chingay. Had quite a tough time deciding on where to get dinner. Eventually, me, Evelyn, Myron, Jia Hui, Casper and the guy from the skaters went to Plaza Singapura for dinner. After dinner, we head down to the X-Zone to play arcade. At around 10pm, there was only me, Myron, Evelyn and the guy so we left for home.

Looking forward to another gathering with the people again...

CHINGAY '08 ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIVE PARADE STARTING FROM CITY HALL!!!!!!!!!

Today was the actual parade of the whole Chingay that we have been rehearsing for the past few weeks. Met Guo Hong at Kallang MRT first. Saw Woon Jeck and another girl waiting for their friend. Then we proceeded to the PAHQ canteen. Had our light snacks before make-up. Then we changed and took some photos. Had a few practice runs while waiting for time to pass. Had our dinner at around 4pm+. Then we board the bus and head over to the Adelphi building while
waiting for our turn as usual. At around 8pm, the live performance began. David and Colin came to find us and shortly after, Yao De and Chang Heng came as well. Our float only went on at around 9pm. First station was not bad after all. Subsequent stations was also okay though with a few mistakes. After that, we quickly head over to our buses to bring us back to PAHQ. We were debrief and we were allowed to bring back our costumes as souvenir. Managed to catch the last train back to CCK.

Here's the long awaited photos. A lot of photos are still with the others.

HUNKS AND BABES!!!!! YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PAYM!!!!! HUAT AH!!!!!!!!!

Today was the preview of the long-awaited Chingay. We were gathered at the PAHQ canteen. Then had make-up put on and waited for the buses to bring us to the assembly area at City Hall. Once there, we sat around, talk around until it was our turn to stand by. Our first station was not very organized. We weren't in sync with the Wicked Aura music. Our subsequent stations was slightly better. After the performance, we head back to PAHQ and had a short debrief before we were let off. Bing Han and I went with the MacPherson students back to their school and walked to a nearby hawker centre for supper. Then, me, Bing Han and Woon Jeck (one of the float bearers) shared a cab home.

HAPPY BELATED VALENTINES DAY TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another year of Valentine spending alone. Here's what I got for Valentine's: An injury on my left leg. Cool eh? Now I am walking around like a crippled.

To all my friends who are in a relationship, all the best in your relationship, treat your partners well and not do anything to disappoint them. To those who are still trying to be in a relationship, give it all your best and may you get the guy or girl that you like. To those who are still single or rejected, don't feel that you are all alone, you still have friends around.

Today was the last rehearsal before the preview and the actual parade on the 15th and 16th. Rehearsal was not as enjoyable as the previous few rehearsals. Dun really have much to comment about it. Quite draggy. Ended around 10pm+.

Lunar New Year Post

Wednesday
Went to my grandparents house for steamboat. Nothing much that night. Left at about 12am+ as the others wanted to go for praying.

Thursday
Went for steamboat again at my grandparents house. Then had a few rounds of card games with vanilla vodka mixed with coca cola. After that, some of us wanted to watch movie and decided on CJ7. Yan Ling and Xiang Ling went to get the tickets first while me, Zi Gui and Qi Huang went with Wan Ying and her brother to their house as they were also going to watch but need to wash up. Then we slacked until about 1am before we made our way to Causeway Point to watch the movie. The movie wasn't really very nice. The ending was a bit lame as well. But it did have its humour as a comedy movie. After that, we head over to Wan Ying's house again and we stayed until the early morning before we took the first MRT home.

Saturday
Head over to Coach Vincent's house at around 2pm+. A few people were there already, Li Jun, Melissa, Danielle, Kang Hao, Ren Zoe and his sister, Julie and Eileen. Shortly after, more people came and then the gambling started. Jasper and Jowen were the lucky brothers. They managed to help me and Guo Hong win a lot. I started out with $7 when i began playing and it was tripled when I left. Made my way to CCK with Jin Hong as he wanted to take the MRT. Saw my brother's old friend, Tze Chong. on the bus. Upon reaching CCK, I quickly walked over to the row of bungalows near CCK stadium as Kevin Yeo's house was there. It was a long walk in and Xian Feng came all the way back out to fetch me in. Once inside, Kevin Yeo, his sister and her friends were there gambling. Wei Cheng, Alvin, Choon Tat, Jia Hao, Xian Zheng, Hui Koon, Edwin, Kang Yi, Christopher, Cheryl, Pei Zhen , Agnes, Hui Yi and Sarah Ho. Ate and gambled there. From my $21, i managed to double that amount to $42. After that, some of us went to watch Kung Fu Dunk at Lot 1 along with Xue Yi. It was a bit like Shaolin Soccer. They made use of some Kung Fu-related actions to play basketball. Then, me, Wei Cheng, Jia Hao, Xian Feng, Xian Zheng and Kevin Yeo went over to Alvin's house. Once there, we played mahjong and poker cards until early morning, though Wei Cheng and I slept more. We also help ourselves to small bottles of vodka. Next morning, we had our breakfast at a nearby coffee shop before we left.

What a long day. Look at the time of post, it is 4.56am

Met Guo Hong at Bugis at 11am. Then we head over to McDonald's and waited for Bing Han before having our breakfast-cum-lunch. After that, took the train to Kallang and made our way to the PA headquarters. Once there, we proceeded to the canteen and waited for the rehearsals to start. Today was the full dress rehearsal, meaning we got our costumes. There were many different costumes for different groups under the PAYM. The hip-hoppers and the inline skaters were given orange and white top and bottom and a orange visor. For the float bearers, they were given green and white top and green bottom and green visor for the guys. The girls were given a one-piece pink and white costume and pink visor. The other group of students from MacPherson Secondary were given blue and white top and bottom. As for us the wushu and the circus people, we were given purple and white top and bottom and purple visor. Some of the girls there were really pretty in make-up with their costumes. The combine rehearsal started only at around 7pm. We did pretty well for both runs. We were told that we may be the first float to perform on the actual parade.

After the rehearsals, which was around 10pm, we made our way back to the MRT station and me and Guo Hong head over to Novena to find Yao De, Yan De, Xian Ying, Chee Tat, Jin Hong and Yao De's boss. We then head over to Telok Blangah or some place to play bowling. The first game, my team was the winning team. But for the second and third game, we lost quite badly. After the games, it was about 2am+. We then took Chee Tat's van back home where he send all of us back home.
