Yesterday was quite a fun day.
Met Guo Hong, Beverly and Jasper at Bugis to buy presents for Jowen whose birthday is coming up and his family is celebrating today. We first head over to Mos Burger for some bite. Then the search for the presents begin. Our first stop was 77th Street where Jasper bought a necklace for his brother. Next we headed to Gift-A-Name where we made a bracelet for Jowen. We went to the next shop to get a birthday card. Before we left, we entered the Newbie shop and then saw a shirt which we decide to buy for Jowen and also me, Guo Hong and Jasper got a similar shirt for ourselves. After buying the presents, we went to write the card. Took us some time to write the card.
Then we made our way down to Takashimaya where we met Jowen, Denyce and their parents. Head up to Angus Steak House. It was the first time I enter this restaurant. They sell several European cuisines. Their steak is their specialty. It really was nice. How I wish I can try it again. But it is quite expensive. First thing that came up was the appetiser being the bread. Following was the corn soup. After that the salad came. The main course finally arrived. 250g may seem like very little but it is quite big and filling. The dessert eventually came and also the cake.
We then went down to Marina Square to play bowling. My team consist of Beverly, Serene, Jasper and me. The other team had Jowen, Denyce, Guo Hong and Daniel. Sadly I didn't break the 100 point barrier throughout the game. In the end my team lost all 3 rounds with the last round being played by me, Guo Hong, Jasper, Jowen and Beverly. We left the place at around 11.30pm. Daniel sent all of us home after that.
I must really thank Daniel, the father of the kids. He treated us a very expensive dinner, 4 rounds of bowling and even sent each of us individually back home. He is a really good host, father and as a friend.
